Pre-pregnancy Health and How to Boost Fertility

Starting out on your journey to parenthood can be an exciting time, and there are a number of ways you can improve your chances of falling pregnant naturally. This session will help you to understand the factors affecting your fertility, and set you on a fast track path to pregnancy.

Gynaecological Conditions

As many as twenty-five percent of women of childbearing age have PCOS, and around 10% of women of reproductive age are affected by endometriosis, yet most women don’t even know that they have a gynaecological condition until they begin trying to get pregnant. Our Gynaecological Conditions Webinar will equip you with all the information you will need on trying to fall pregnant with gynaecolgical issues such as Endometriosis, PCOS, Fibroids and others.

Treatment Options

For many Australian couples, the journey to parenthood does not always happen as quickly as they expect. Fortunately, advances in assisted conception treatments can make a real difference.

Whether you require a simple approach, such as Ovulation Induction  or more complex infertility treatment, such as IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation) or ICSI, our specialists can support you at every step of the way. Join our webinar to find out more about the treatment options available and whether they may be right for you.

Nutrition and Fertility with Wendy Fedele

What you eat can improve, or harm, your fertility.

What we put in our bodies is so important for our general health.  Most people understand this.  What many women don’t know is that our menstrual cycles and fertility are just a reflection of that underlying health. This means that when we are not functioning optimally, our fertility often isn’t either.  Our body is constantly reacting to our environment and that includes the food on our plate. Join Nutritionist Wendy Fedele and our Fertility Specialist on a one hour talk about all things nutrition and fertility.

Mindfulness

IVF treatment can be challenging emotionally, and sometimes places strains on our relationships.

Talking with a counsellor doesn’t mean you aren’t coping – it’s simply an important tool that can help you through this time of your life. It’s helpful to have someone really listen to you without giving ‘advice’, and be able to talk to someone you can be completely honest with.

Melissa Stephens is a Senior Fertility Counsellor at IVFAustralia and has practised as a psychologist for over 15 years. Having worked previously with the NSW Department of Health and in private practice, she has extensive expertise in working with children and families with issues around relationships, parenting, anxiety and depression. Join Melissa on a talk about Fertility and Mindfulness.
