Important update: media reports today about PGT

In the news today you may have seen reports that another health provider is withdrawing their non-invasive pre-implantation genetic test.

We want to reassure our patients that this technology has not been used at TasIVF; this news does not affect our patients.

We do not use the culture medium approach, at Virtus Health we use the established world-wide genetic testing technique, where a few cells are biopsied from the embryo. Biopsy of the embryo is known to give highly reliable results and is in widespread use globally.
