The Tasmanian Government announced a $2000 rebate for Tasmanian residents undergoing IVF and other assisted reproductive treatments from 1 July 2026.
The rebate will help more Tasmanians access fertility treatment locally, reducing out-of-pocket costs for people and couples hoping to build their families.
It will apply to eligible Tasmanian residents undertaking fertility treatment in Tasmania and is accessible to both existing and new patients.

Who is eligible for the rebate?
The rebate will only be available to Tasmanian residents through local Tasmanian IVF providers and is accessible to both existing and new fertility patients.
